Marvin Bagley III posted season highs of 23 points and 14 rebounds, and the Washington Wizards held the Indiana Pacers to 36.9% shooting from the floor en route to a 108-89 romp on Sunday in Indianapolis.

The 89 points were the fewest a Wizards team held an opponent to since limiting Memphis to 87 in a November 2021 game. Sunday also marked the first game in 2025-26 that Washington kept an opponent to a double-digit point total.

Indiana shot just 31 of 84 from the floor overall, while the Wizards knocked down 41 of 89. Washington compounded Indiana’s scoring woes by keeping the Pacers off the glass, posting a 56-41 rebounding advantage.

Justin Champagnie matched Bagley’s game-high with 14 boards and Kyshawn George grabbed eight rebounds as he flirted with triple-double. George dished a game-high nine assists and scored nine points.

George was the only Washington starter not to score in double figures. CJ McCollum finished with 18 points and grabbed six rebounds, Champagnie scored 13 points and Bub Carrington added 11 points with five assists.

Tre Johnson knocked down 3 of 4 3-point attempts on the way to 14 points in 16 minutes off the bench, and Will Riley added another 12 points in reserve duty.

Bennedict Mathurin’s 15 points led five Pacers in double figures. Jay Huff scored 13 points, Jarace Walker chipped in 12 and Isaiah Jackson added another 11 off the bench.

Pascal Siakam was held to just 11 points, 13.3 less than his season average, on 4-of-12 shooting from the floor.

Washington led almost the entire way, taking control with a 23-9 run to close out the second quarter. The Wizards held the Pacers without a made field goal for 3:11, 2:14 and 2:43 during the pivotal stretch.

Indiana briefly cut the deficit to a single-digit margin midway through the third quarter, but Washington responded with a 15-8 surge to close out the period. The Wizards cruised the rest of the way, holding Indiana to fewer than 90 points scored for just the second time this season.
