Lauren Betts’ 18 points and Kiki Rice’s 16 points carried No. 4 UCLA past No. 19 Ohio State for an 82-75 Big Ten Conference victory Sunday in Columbus, Ohio, in the only game on the day’s schedule pitting nationally ranked teams against each other.
Angela Dugalic added 15 points off the bench for UCLA (12-1, 2-0 Big Ten), which also received 12 points apiece from Gianna Kneepkens and Gabriela Jaquez.
Jaloni Cambridge pumped in 28 points on 11-for-19 shooting for Ohio State (12-2, 1-1). T’yana Todd made four of the team’s seven 3-pointers on the way to 16 points and Elsa Lemmila had 13 points.
The Bruins built a 76-60 lead with less than six minutes to play, but the Buckeyes got within 78-72 with two minutes left before Kneepkens hit a 3-pointer. Ohio State didn’t score after Chance Gray’s three-point play at the 1:28 mark.

Sarah Strong scored 15 points and Azzi Fudd had 13 points in the Big East Conference road romp in Indianapolis.
The Huskies (13-0, 4-0 Big East), which led 54-22 at halftime, also received 12 points from Blanca Quinonez.
Caroline Dotsey and Addison Baxter each scored 10 points for Butler (7-7, 1-3), which committed 29 turnovers to negate much of its 32-30 rebounding advantage.

Kyla Oldacre scored 22 points on 9-of-10 shooting off the bench and Madison Booker racked up 20 points as the Longhorns reached the 100-point mark for the sixth time while cruising in Austin, Texas.
Jordan Lee’s 16 points along with 12 points apiece from Breya Cunningham and Bryanna Preston also helped Texas (15-0), which made more field goals (48 of 80, 60 percent) than its opponent attempted (45).
Eryn McKinzie scored 13 points and Aliyah Collins had 10 points for Southeastern Louisiana (2-8), which committed 20 of its 30 turnovers in the first half.

Madina Okot and Tessa Johnson both scored 18 points and all five Gamecocks starters scored in double figures in the runaway victory over the Friars in Columbia, S.C.
Joyce Edwards added 14 points and Ta’Niya Latson, Raven Johnson and reserve Agot Makeer all had 10 points for South Carolina (13-1), which led 46-34 at halftime before pulling away. Okot finished with 13 rebounds.
Sabou Gueye scored 16 points for Providence (8-6), which shot 3 for 17 on 3-pointers while South Carolina made 12 of 29.
No. 5 LSU 109, Alabama Strate 41
Kate Koval’s 23 points and 11 rebounds and Amiya Joyner’s 19 points led the way as the Tigers won easily at Baton Rouge, La.
ZaKiyah Johnson added 17 points, Bella Hines had 13 points and Mikaylah Williams notched 11 points for LSU (14-0), which led 53-14 at halftime. The Tigers shot 2-for-13 on 3s.
Alabama State (3-8) was charged with 36 turnovers. Alanah Pooler had a team-high eight points off the bench.

Clara Strack made 11 of 17 shots from the field on the way to 24 points and 11 rebounds for the Wildcats in the romp over the Pride in Lexington, Ky.
Amelia Hassett used 5-for-8 shooting on 3-pointers to pour in 18 points and Asia Boone added 11 points for Kentucky (13-1), which has won six games in a row after shooting 50 percent from the floor.
Chloe Sterling provided 16 points on 7-for-14 shooting from the field for Hofstra (2-9).
No. 12 Vanderbilt 109, Stonehill 50
Mikayla Blakes poured in 21 points and added seven assists and five steals as the Commodores rolled to their eighth home victory with a hot-shooting afternoon at Nashville, Tenn.
Alyana Mitchell’s 16 points and Sacha Washington’s 14 points also helped Vanderbilt (13-0), which made 44 of 63 shots from the field (69.8%). Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda, Justine Pissott and Jada Brown all scored 12 points.
Julia Webster had 14 points for Stonehill (4-7), which was charged with 35 turnovers and shot 39.2% from the field.

Ava Heiden cranked out 27 points on 13-for-19 from the field as part of the Hawkeyes’ 50% shooting in the Big Ten game at Iowa City, Iowa.
Chazadi Wright contributed 14 points and Taylor Stremlow and Hannah Stuelke both racked up 14 points for Iowa (11-2, 2-0 Big Ten), which led 49-37 at halftime. Reserves Addie Deal with 13 points and Journey Houston with 11 points also aided the Hawkeyes.
Tea Cleante’s 21 points, Kiyomi McMiller’s 20 points and Gracie Merkle’s 18 points paced Penn State (7-6, 0-2), which was outscored 17-4 at the free-throw line.
No. 15 Ole Miss 64, Alcorn State 44
Cotie McMahon scored nine of her 21 points on free throws as the Rebels used a strong second half to win at Oxford, Miss.
Latasha Lattimore provided 14 points and 12 rebounds for Ole Miss (13-2), which trailed 30-28 at the break. The Rebels outscored Alcorn State 29-6 on free throws.
Nakia Cheatham posted 18 points for Alcorn State (3-8), which managed only five third-quarter points. The Braves committed 25 turnovers.
No. 24 Michigan State 70, Rutgers 64
Rashunda Jones notched 14 points and the Spartans held on to secure their first Big Ten victory of the season over the Scarlet Knights in East Lansing, Mich.
Kennedy Blair provided 12 points, 11 rebounds and six assists and Ines Sotelo had 12 points for Michigan State (12-1, 1-1 Big Ten), which made just three of its 24 attempts on 3-pointers and was outrebounded 44-36.
Nene Ndiaye had 16 points and Faith Blackstone posted 15 points for Rutgers (8-5, 0-2), which couldn’t overcome 25 turnovers and 4-for-20 shooting from 3-point range.
