Portland Fire forward Bridget Carleton will make her Unrivaled debut in 2027, the 3-on-3 league announced Thursday.

The 29-year-old Canadian has averaged a career-high 13.4 points and 3.4 rebounds through 17 games (all starts) for the WNBA expansion club this season.

Carleton’s Unrivaled team will be announced at a later date. The league is heading into its third season.

“I am so excited to be playing in Unrivaled next season,” she said in a news release. “It’s a special opportunity for me to not only stay closer to home but to continue to expand my game and compete with and against some of the best players in the world. Can’t wait to get there!”

Carleton has career averages of 6.2 points and 2.9 rebounds in 236 games (128 starts) with the Connecticut Sun (2019), Minnesota Lynx (2019-25) and Portland. The Fire selected her with the No. 1 pick in the expansion draft on April 3.
