Christian Walker blasted a three-run homer to cap a four-run 10th as the visiting Houston Astros rallied for a 7-5 win over the Detroit Tigers on Sunday.

Houston, which trailed 3-0 in the seventh, collected three wins in the four-game series.

Isaac Paredes homered among his three hits and added two RBIs and two runs, while Raynel Delgado hit his first career homer.

Josh Hader (2-0) picked up the win. Houston starter Hunter Brown gave up three runs (two earned) on five hits in six innings, with four strikeouts and two walks.

Zach McKinstry and Spencer Torkelson hit two-run homers for Detroit. Returning from the injured list, starter Jack Flaherty struck out nine in five scoreless innings while allowing two hits and three walks.

After Kenley Jansen (1-4) walked Yordan Alvarez in the 10th, Paredes knocked in automatic runner Jeremy Pena with a single. Walker then launched a cutter over the left field wall.

Torkelson homered in the bottom of the inning, but Hader escaped a first-and-third situation to end the game.

The Tigers took a 2-0 in the second. Kerry Carpenter led off with a bloop single and McKinstry smashed a Brown fastball over the right field wall for his third homer.

Jake Meyers led off the third with a double and moved up on a wild pitch. He was left stranded as Flaherty struck out the next two batters, then retired Yordan Alvarez on a flyout.

Detroit scored an unearned run in the fifth to make it 3-0. Kevin McGonigle drew a one-out walk and advanced on a groundout. Riley Greene hit a routine grounder to second that bounced off Delgado’s glove and into right field, allowing McGonigle to score.

Houston scored two unearned runs in the seventh off Tyler Holton. Meyers reached second with two outs when first baseman Colt Keith failed to catch a throw from third baseman McGonigle. Delgado hit the next pitch 409 feet over the right field wall.

Paredes tied it with a leadoff homer in the eighth, jumping on a 2-0 fastball from Kyle Finnegan.

Hader walked the bases loaded in the ninth, then struck out Greene to force extra innings.
