Spencer Steer hit a two-run home run to help the Cincinnati Reds snap a six-game home losing streak with a 3-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday.

Reds starter Nick Lodolo (3-2) gave up six hits and one run in six innings. The southpaw walked two and struck out four in 97 pitches as Cincinnati salvaged the finale of the three-game series.

Cincinnati closer Emilio Page gave up a run in the ninth before nailing down his seventh save. It was his second outing since coming off the IL with a hamstring strain. His last save chance was May 4 and his last save was April 17.

Orioles starter Kyle Bradish (5-9) gave up five hits and three runs while coming up one out short of a complete game. The right-hander walked one and struck out five in 106 pitches.

Bradish was perfect through four innings, before the Reds touched him for two runs in the fifth.

Eduardo Suarez led off with a walk. Steer fell behind 0-2 before working the count full.

He then launched an opposite-field homer to right-center to get the Reds on the board.

Bradish pitched into the eighth for the third time this season and induced a season-high 11 groundouts.

Meanwhile, Lodolo scattered four hits through the first five innings to keep the Orioles scoreless.

Baltimore broke through in the sixth when Taylor Ward nailed a one-out double.

He went to third on a groundout by Pete Alonso and scored when Coby Mayo singled to cut the Orioles’ deficit to 2-1.

The Orioles loaded the bases in the sixth when Tyler O’Neill and Leody Taveras walked, but Lodolo ended the threat by striking out Jeremiah Jackson.

The Reds scored an insurance run in the eighth. Edwin Arroyo singled with one out and went to second on a wild pitch to become the first Reds runner to move into scoring position in the game.

Bradish struck out Elly De La Cruz, and Orioles manager Craig Albernaz elected to leave Bradish in to see if he could finish the eighth.

Sal Stewart, however, ripped a double inside the third base line to score Arroyo and give the Reds a two-run lead.
