Team Spirit recorded a 3-2 victory over TEAM VISION in the best-of-five grand final at The International 2026 on Sunday in Shanghai.
After sweeping Team Yandex in the lower-bracket final, Spirit traded individual wins with VISION before capturing the tournament title for the third time with a 64-minute victory on red. Spirit recorded a pair of 46-minute wins on green, while VISION notched 64- and 44-minute victories on green.
Spirit had an easier time of it en route to a 2-0 victory over Yandex, posting a 37-minute win on red and 34-minute triumph on green earlier Sunday.
Sixteen teams began the 15th annual Dota 2 tournament on Aug. 13. The crowd-funded prize pool had a base of $1.6 million and an ending value of nearly $3.4 million. Eight teams made the double-elimination playoff bracket, with all matches best-of-three until Sunday’s best-of-five grand final.
