Kyle Schwarber drove in the go-ahead run with a bloop double and Trea Turner added a two-run single to highlight a three-run 10th inning and lead the Philadelphia Phillies to a 4-2 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday night in Anaheim, Calif.

Alec Bohm went 2-for-4 with a run scored and Turner had two hits and two RBIs for Philadelphia, which won for the 12th time in its last 14 games. Jhoan Duran (2-4) picked up the win, allowing one unearned run on one hit and one walk in two innings of relief.

Zach Neto hit a home run for Los Angeles, which finished with just four hits while losing its sixth straight game. Right-hander Trevor Martin (0-1), making his Angels debut after being claimed on waivers from Tampa Bay on Aug. 15, picked up the loss, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks in three innings.

Philadelphia took a 1-0 lead in the second inning when Bohm led off with a single, advanced to second on a walk to Bryson Stott and scored on a single to center by Brandon Marsh.

The Phillies then ran themselves out of a chance to add an insurance run in the eighth inning. Turner led off with an infield single and Bryce Harper walked. Turner was then picked off stealing third by Martin, but Harper advanced from first to third on a wild pitch to the backstop.

After Luis Arraez grounded out, Harper tried to steal home and was originally ruled safe by home plate umpire Dan Merzel. However, the call was overturned following a lengthy replay challenge by the Angels.

Los Angeles then tied it, 1-1, in the bottom of the eighth on Neto’s 23rd home run, a 407-foot drive to left-center on the 12th pitch of the at-bat off reliever Jonathan Bowlan.

The Phillies took a 2-1 lead in the 10th on Schwarber’s bloop double, driving in J.T. Realmuto, who had reached on a fielder’s choice and advanced to third on Justin Crawford’s single. Turner followed with a two-run single to right, scoring pinch runner Garrett Stubbs and Crawford.

Los Angeles produced one run in the bottom of the inning on a fielder’s choice by Wade Meckler, driving in automatic runner Denzer Guzman.

Philadelphia starter Cristopher Sanchez was denied a major league-leading 17th win despite allowing just two hits over seven shutout innings. The left-hander walked one and struck out eight to give him 202 strikeouts for the season, the second straight season he has struck out at least 200 batters.

Sanchez also extended his road scoreless streak to 19 innings and became the third pitcher in Phillies history to have three consecutive road starts of six-plus shutout innings, joining Hall of Famer Steve Carlton (1981) and Cliff Lee (2011).
