Angel Reese posted 23 points and 10 rebounds — adding to her WNBA record with her 31st double-double of the season — as the host Atlanta Dream tuned up for the playoffs by pulling away to rout the Chicago Sky 106-81.

In the first half, Reese grabbed her 500th rebound, setting another WNBA single-season record.

Atlanta (27-14) entered the game tied for the fourth seed with the Indiana Fever in the standings, but own the head-to-head tiebreaker. Atlanta ends the regular season with back-to-back games in Brooklyn against the Liberty and still can catch Las Vegas for the third seed.

The Dream have won three in a row and seven of their last eight. Chicago (15-27) has lost five straight.

The game turned early in the second half when Atlanta went on a 12-0 run highlighted by a four-point play by Allisha Gray and a fastbreak basket for Reese for a 70-53 lead. The Dream outscored the Sky 32-19 in the third quarter and 55-34 in the second half.

The Dream, who led by as many as 27, were 13-for-26 from 3-point range compared to 4-for-20 for Chicago.

Atlanta’s Isobel Borlase had a season-high 18 points off the bench, including one stretch in the fourth quarter where she hit threes on three straight possessions. Gray scored 17 and Rhyne Howard added 14, while Jordin Canada contributed 11 points and 10 assists.

Playing her third game for the Dream after coming over from the Phoenix Mercury in an August trade, DeWanna Bonner had eight points, including two long threes in the first half.

Chicago was led by Gabriela Jaquez, who had 14 points. Kamila Cardoso and Aicha Coulibaly each added 11.

The first half saw eight ties and 17 lead changes, with neither team leading by more than four points.

The Sky had the better of play for most of the first 20 minutes as seven Chicago players scored.

Chicago led 39-38 with 3:40 left in the half when Cardoso picked up her third foul and went to the bench.

After that, Reese led a late Dream surge with six points and Howard sank a three to give Atlanta a 51-47 halftime lead.
