Aurora Gaming, G2 Esports, FUT Esports and Team Vitality survived and advanced in their respective lower brackets at the BLAST Open Fall 2026 on Sunday in Copenhagen, Denmark.
With the Group A and B upper-bracket finals set by Friday’s and Saturday’s results, Sunday saw four lower-bracket semifinals played between the two groups.
Aurora swept M80 2-0 and G2 did the same to Natus Vincere to move into the Group A lower-bracket final slated for Monday. In Group B, FUT Esports defeated IC Esports 2-0 and Team Vitality got past Legacy 2-1 to set the lower-bracket final, also to be played Monday. The four losing sides were eliminated.
The $1.1 million Counter-Strike 2 event features 16 teams divided into two groups for the double-elimination opening stage. The group winners advance to the playoff semifinals. The group runners-up move on to the playoff quarterfinals as high seeds, while the two third-place teams head to the playoff quarterfinals as low seeds. The remaining teams will be eliminated.
All group-stage matches are best-of-three.
The single-elimination playoffs, which begin Sept. 4 in Porto, Portugal, will feature best-of-three matches in the quarterfinals and semifinals. The grand final on Sept. 6 will be best-of-five.
The championship team will receive $250,000 ($150,000 for the players, $100,000 for the club) plus three BLAST Frequent Flyer Tokens.
On Sunday, Aurora trounced M80 13-3 on Dust II and 13-5 on Inferno. Ali “Wicadia” Haydar Yalcin of Turkey led a balanced attack with 30 kills, while three of his teammates contributed 28 or 29 kills.
G2 Esports scored a 13-6 win over Natus Vincere on Ancient and a 13-10 result on Inferno. Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko of Israel had a match-high 37 kills on a plus-17 kills-deaths differential to lead G2.
As for Group B, FUT Esports took care of IC Esports 13-9 on Mirage and 13-6 on Nuke. Ukraine’s Dmytro “dem0n” Myroshnychenko dominated for FUT with 45 kills and a plus-28 K-D.
Vitality opened with a 16-14 overtime win over Legacy on Nuke. Legacy stayed alive with a 13-9 decision on Mirage, but Vitality sewed things up 13-8 on Dust II. Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut of France starred for Vitality with 56 kills on a plus-11.
