Eight teams started their tournament off with wins on Day 1 of FISSURE Playground #3 on Tuesday in Suzhou, China.

9z Team, MIBR, Astralis and BetBoom Team won their opening matches in Group A to move on to the upper-bracket semifinals. In Group B, Legacy, Alliance, PARIVISION and FURIA won their openers to advance in the upper bracket as well.

The $1 million FISSURE Playground #3 began with 16 teams divided into two groups of eight playing in a double-elimination format. All matches are best-of-three. The group winners will advance directly to the semifinals, the runners-up will advance to the quarterfinals as the high seeds and each third-place team will move to the quarters as the low seeds.

The single-elimination playoffs run Friday through Sunday. All matches are best-of-three until the best-of-five grand final. The winning club will collect $300,000 — $165,000 for the player prize and $135,000 for the team share.
