Team Falcons swept Spacestation Gaming 4-0 on Sunday in the grand final of the Rocket League Champions Series 2026 World Championship in Fort Worth, Texas.
First place was awarded $300,000 and second place $153,000 in the $1.2 million tournament.
Falcons won 3-2 on Mannfield (Dusk), 2-1 on Forbidden Temple, 3-2 in overtime (+1:34) on Futura Garden (Night) and 2-1 on Utopia Coliseum (Dusk).
The RLCS 2026 World Championship began on Tuesday with an eight-team play-in. All matches were best-of-five and the top four teams advanced to the group stage.
The group stage featured 16 teams, with four coming from the play-in. Split into four groups of four, they played single round robin with best-of-five matches. The winner of each group qualified for the upper-bracket playoffs. The second- and third-place teams in each group qualified for the lower-bracket playoffs.
The fourth-place team in each group was eliminated.
The group champions were Karmine Corp (Group A), FUT Esports (B), NRG (C) and Virtus.pro (D).
The playoffs ran from Friday to Sunday with 12 teams in a hybrid elimination bracket. The top four teams of the group stage started with two chances before the semifinals, while teams ranked No. 5 to No. 12 start with one chance. All matches were best-of-seven.
Spacestation Gaming had knocked out FUT Esports 4-2 in one semifinal on Sunday. FUT took the opening map, Mannfield (Dusk) 1-0, then SSG drew even with a 2-1 overtime win (+0:53) on Forbidden Temple.
FUT got the advantage with a 2-1 victory on Futura Garden (Night) before SSG won the next three maps to clinch the match: 3-2 on Utopia Coliseum (Dusk), 3-0 on Sovereign Heights and 2-1 in OT ((+0:08) on Neo Tokyo.
Team Falcons had to rally before eliminating Karmine Corp 4-2 in the other semifinal. Falcons won 3-2 in OT (+3:00) on Mannfield (Dusk) but fell behind with losses on Forbidden Temple by 1-0 and Futura Garden (Night) by 2-1 in OT (+2:18).
Falcons then reeled off wins by 3-2 in OT (0:03) on Utopia Coliseum (Dusk), 3-2 on Sovereign Heights and 6-0 on Neo Tokyo.
Earlier Sunday in the lower-bracket quarterfinals, Spacestation Gaming defeated Virtus.pro 4-0, and Team Falcons beat NRG 4-1.
Team Falcons’ Yazeed “Kiileerrz” Abdullah Bakhashwin was selected RLCS 2026 Worlds MVP and teammate Saleh “Rw9” Abdulla Bakhawshwin, also from Saudi Arabia, was voted the Grand Finals MVP.
FUT Esports’ Carlos “Cheese” Aguado of the United States and Mexico was the Breakthrough Player, Virtus.pro’s Jayden “2Piece” Horton of the U.S. was the Saviour of the Seaason.
NRG’s Massimo “Atomic” Franceschi of the U.S. and Venezuela was the Striker of the Season and American teammate Daniel “Daniel” Piecenski was the Playmaker of the Season.
