Team Liquid swept 100 Thieves 3-0 in Sunday’s grand final of the LoL Championship of The Americas 2025 Cross-Conference event in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The victory earned Liquid an automatic berth in the First Stand tournament. The Thieves took home $20,000 as the runner-up.
Liquid played red on all three maps and won in 30, 35 and 30 minutes.
Sean “Yeon” Sung of the U.S., who was named the match’s MVP, led the way with a kills-deaths-assists ratio of 24/3/26. Kim “River” Dong-woo of South Korea paced the Thieves at 13/11/12.
The $40,000 LTA Cross-Conference tournament is the first League of The Americas Cross-Conference event of the year. Eight teams competed in a single-elimination bracket leading to Sunday’s grand final.
