TEAM VISION and Team Spirit remained unbeaten after the second day of group stage action at The International 2026 on Friday in Shanghai.
Sixteen teams are competing in the 15th annual Dota 2 tournament. The crowd-funded prize pool has a base of $1.6 million and a current value of $2.97 million.
The Swiss-system group stage features best-of-three matches, with the top three teams going to the playoffs and the fourth- to 13th-place teams moving to an elimination round. The bottom three teams are eliminated. Five additional teams will advance to the playoffs from the elimination round.
The double-elimination playoff bracket will run from Aug. 20-23 with all matches best-of-three until the best-of-five grand final.
Team Spirit moved to 3-0 with a sweep of Aurora Gaming in Round 2 (42 minutes on green and 44 on red) and a 2-1 defeat of Team Liquid in Round 3. Team Spirit sandwiched a 51- and 49-minute wins on red around Team Liquid’s 36-minute win on red.
TEAM VISION improved to 3-0 with a sweep of BoomBoys in Round 3, winning in 37 minutes on red and 69 minutes on green.
