The United Pickleball Association is going international.

The circuit announced Thursday that it is adding events in Australia, India, Canada, Asia and Europe to create the “world’s first top-tier global pickleball tour” featuring the best players from each region.

The UPA International Championship Series is set to start next year and will be run by the UPA and the top organizations in each country.

The series will run through the world championships in Dallas in November 2025.

The international events will launch Jan. 29-Feb. 2 with the Australia Pickleball Open in Melbourne. Other scheduled events are the India Pickleball Open in Mumbai (Feb. 5-9), the Canada Pickleball Open in Toronto in September, and the Asia Pickleball Open and Europe Pickleball Open, both in October. Locations have yet to be set for the latter two events.
