Carlos Alcaraz needed just 50 minutes to capture the Qatar ExxonMobil Open title as he earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory over France’s Arthur Fils on Saturday in Doha.

Building on his triumph at the Australian Open, the top-seeded Spaniard won 88.9% (24 of 27) of his first serves and allowed the unseeded Fils to win just 45.2% of his first serves.

Alcaraz racked up five aces and converted five of his seven break points to improve his record to 12-0 in 2026. The 21-year-old Fils came up short after knocking off No. 8 Jiri Lehecka and No. 6 Jakub Mensik to reach the final.

Delray Beach Open

Unseeded Sebastian Korda continued his upset spree by taking care of third-seeded Flavio Cobolli of Italy by a 7-6 (1), 6-1 count during ATP 250 semifinal play in Delray Beach, Fla.

Korda, who defeated second-seeded Casper Ruud in the quarterfinals, stacked up 12 aces with no double faults against Cobolli to advance to the final against fifth-seeded Tommy Paul. The 25-year-old Korda will be going for his first title since the 2024 Washington Open.

Paul lost his first set to fourth-seeded Learner Tien, but rallied to secure a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 triumph in a clash that lasted 2:14. Paul uncorked 15 aces compared to Tien’s five. He also saved seven of a possible eight break points while Tien saved three of five.

Rio Open

Unseeded Vit Kopriva of Czechia built a 5-4 lead over eighth-seeded Tomas Martin Etcheverry of Argentina before their semifinal match was suspended by rain. Both players held serve throughout, though Kopriva staved off a break point.

Their ATP 500 match resumes Sunday. The semifinal between Chile’s Alejandro Tabilo and Peru’s Ignacio Buse — a pair of unseeded upstarts — also will be played Sunday.
