Rookie Sam Antonacci had an RBI double to highlight his career-high four-hit performance Wednesday, helping the Chicago White Sox coast to an 8-0 victory over the Minnesota Twins in Minneapolis.

Antonacci added another double to lead off the eighth inning before coming around to score on Miguel Vargas’ RBI single. Andrew Benintendi belted a two-run homer later in the inning to cap the scoring.

Rookie Jacob Gonzalez recorded the first two RBIs of his career, as his two-run single highlighted his team’s four-run first inning. He was playing in his fourth game since being called up from Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday.

The offense was more than enough for Erick Fedde (1-5), who scattered two hits over five scoreless innings to help the White Sox salvage the finale of the three-game series.

Fedde retired the first 11 batters he faced before Trevor Larnach worked a two-out walk in the fourth inning. Fedde allowed singles to Luke Keaschall and Tristan Gray with two outs in the fifth before inducing Orlando Arcia to ground into a fielder’s choice to end the threat.

Fedde struck out two batters and walked one for his first win since Aug. 9, when he pitched for the Atlanta Braves.

Grant Taylor and Chris Murphy each struck out three batters over two scoreless innings to end the game.

Gray committed three errors for the Twins, who lost for the sixth time in eight games.

Chicago quickly loaded the bases in the first inning before Chase Meidroth worked an eight-pitch walk against Taj Bradley (5-2) to open the scoring. Gonzalez plated a pair of runs with a single to left-center field before Meidroth scored on a fielder’s choice by Tristan Peters.

Gray committed a throwing error that allowed Rikuu Nishida to advance to second base in the sixth inning. Nishida didn’t stay there long, as he trotted home on Antonacci’s double to center field off Eric Orze.

Bradley permitted four runs on seven hits with five walks in 4 2/3 innings to sustain his first loss since April 24. He struck out five.
