Kyle Schwarber collected four hits, Brandon Marsh slugged a two-run homer and the Philadelphia Phillies notched an 8-6 home victory over the Chicago White Sox on Friday.

Alec Bohm had two hits and two RBIs for Philadelphia, which has won eight of its last 10 games. Bryce Harper also contributed two hits, while Adolis Garcia homered for the second straight game.

Randal Grichuk homered twice for Chicago, which has lost three of its last four games. Derek Hill also went deep, while Luisangel Acuna chipped in with two hits, an RBI and a run for the visitors.

After the White Sox tied the game at 6 with a run in both the sixth and seventh, the Phillies bounced back to score two of their own in the bottom of the seventh.

Schwarber singled against Bryan Hudson (3-2), who then walked Trea Turner and allowed a base hit to Harper to load the bases. Two batters later, Edmundo Sosa’s sacrifice fly put Philadelphia ahead 7-6.

Seranthony Dominguez then came on against his former team and unleashed a wild pitch that brought home an insurance run.

Phillies setup man Brad Keller benefited from a double play to get out of the eighth before Jhoan Duran slammed the door in the ninth for his 15th save, tied for fourth in the majors.

Chicago jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a pair of second-inning runs against Jesus Luzardo, but Marsh promptly tied the game with a homer in the bottom half against Anthony Kay. Philadelphia tacked on three more runs in the inning, capped by Bohm’s two-run double.

However, the momentum quickly swung back in the other direction, as Grichuk homered to open the third, bringing the White Sox within 5-3.

Garcia’s fourth-inning blast restored a three-run lead for the hosts, but Grichuk countered with another homer in the fifth.

The White Sox weren’t done yet, as Hill homered against Luzardo in the sixth to make it 6-5. Colson Montgomery delivered a two-out single off Jonathan Bowlan (2-0) in the seventh to draw Chicago even before the Phillies surged back in front.

Luzardo allowed five runs and seven hits (three home runs) in six innings, while Kay was charged with six runs and seven hits in four frames, striking out four and walking two.
