Willson Contreras, Wilyer Abreu and Ceddanne Rafaela each homered to lead the Boston Red Sox to a 10-1 victory over the visiting Texas Rangers on Friday night.

Contreras and Abreu each hit a solo home run, and Rafaela belted a two-run homer.

It was a rare home victory for the Red Sox, who ended a four-game losing streak and improved to 11-21 at Fenway Park this season.

Sonny Gray (8-1) pitched the first six innings to pick up the win. Gray held Texas to one run on five hits, struck out seven and didn’t issue any walks.

Texas starting pitcher Jack Leiter (3-6) was pulled after five innings. Leiter gave up six runs (five earned) on eight hits.

Contreras, Abreu and Rafaela each had three hits in the win. Boston entered the game having scored the fewest runs of any American League team in June (27).

Texas received two hits from both Joc Pederson and Wyatt Langford.

Langford’s RBI single drove in Pederson to give the Rangers a 1-0 lead in the top of the first.

Boston tied the game in the bottom of the first when Rafaela scored on Abreu’s sacrifice fly. Contreras hit his 14th homer later in the inning to put Boston up 2-1.

The Red Sox added four runs in the fifth. Consecutive doubles by Mickey Gasper, Rafaela and Abreu made it 4-1. Abreu scored on a throwing error by third baseman Josh Jung to make it 5-1, and Contreras extended the lead to 6-1 when he scored on Caleb Durbin’s sacrifice fly.

Abreu led off the seventh by homering off Cal Quantrill, which increased Boston’s lead to 7-1. It was his eighth home run of the season.

Rafaela’s home run, his seventh of the season, came with Connor Wong on base and stretched the lead to 9-1. Boston capped the scoring later in the eighth when Contreras’ double drove in Abreu.
