Tommy Troy, Geraldo Perdomo and Gabriel Moreno homered to help the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks earn a 5-3 win against the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday afternoon in the rubber game of their three-game series.

Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen allowed three runs and six hits in six innings. He struck out four, walked two and allowed solo homers to JJ Bleday and Noelvi Marte for the Reds, who have lost eight of 10.

Cincinnati left-hander Andrew Abbott allowed one run and four hits in five innings. He struck out five and walked three on 95 pitches.

Bleday came to the plate with one out in the second and lifted a solo home run to right center to give the Reds a 1-0 lead.

After making a diving catch in left in the bottom half of the second to save a run, Troy homered down the left field line leading off the third to tie it 1-1.

Nathaniel Lowe lined a single over Arizona second baseman Ildemaro Vargas with two outs in the third. Eugenio Suarez then doubled off the wall in right center to score Lowe and give Cincinnati a 2-1 lead.

Tejay Antone replaced Abbott to start the sixth and served up a two-run homer to Perdomo after Vargas had reached on an error by Lowe at first, which moved the Diamondbacks in front 3-2.

Following the RBI double by Suarez, Gallen retired seven in a row before walking Lowe to start the sixth. While Lowe was erased on a double play. Marte came up next and homered for the third straight game to tie it 3-3.

Moreno led off the eighth by hitting a high fly to right off Zach Maxwell (0-1) that sailed just out of the reach of the leaping Marte and over the fence to give Arizona the lead for good.

Juan Morillo (2-3) started the seventh for Arizona and got an inning-ending double play after making a fielding error.

Kevin Ginkel came on for the eighth and gave up back-to-back singles before both runners moved up on a wild pitch. Ginkel wriggled out of the inning by fanning Suarez and Marte.

After a rain delay of more than an hour, the Diamondbacks tacked on a run in the ninth on an RBI single by Ketel Marte to make it 5-3.

Paul Sewald pitched the ninth for his 17th save.
