The Utah Mammoth signed head coach Andre Tourigny and assistant coach Blaine Forsythe to new multi-year contracts on Monday.

The club also signed two-time Stanley Cup-winning defenseman Adam Foote to a multi-year contract to join Tourigny’s staff as an assistant coach. Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.

The Mammoth finished 43-33-6 and made the playoffs in Tourigny’s second season behind the bench in 2025-26. Utah lost to the Vegas Golden Knights in six games in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

“Andre and Blaine have both been instrumental in building the foundation for our organization and will be critical in our continued success and leadership moving forward,” general manager Bill Armstrong said. “Andre is an excellent leader, communicator, and person, who is extremely well respected by our players and our staff. Blaine’s an experienced, knowledgeable, and Stanley Cup-winning coach who has a strong body of work running the power play.

“We are also thrilled to have Adam, a two-time Stanley Cup champion and 2002 Olympic gold medalist right here in Salt Lake, join the organization and bring a fresh perspective to our room backed by years of experience as both a player and coach. This is another exciting day for the organization.”

Tourigny, 52, is 170-195-45 as the head coach of the then-Arizona Coyotes (2021-24) and Utah.

“I am grateful to the organization and feel fortunate to work alongside such an exceptional coaching staff and dedicated group of players, whose collective hard work and commitment to each other have fostered a culture we can be proud of,” Tourigny said. “My family and I love being in Utah and look forward to deepening our roots here.”

Forsythe won the 2018 Stanley Cup as an assistant coach with the Washington Capitals. He joined the Coyotes in July 2023.

Foote played 17 of his 19 NHL seasons with the Colorado Avalanche and won Stanley Cups in 1996 and 2001. He went 25-49-8 last season as head coach of the Vancouver Canucks.
