Cal Raleigh and Cole Young homered to drive in all of Seattle’s runs in the Mariners’ 3-2 comeback win over the host Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday night.

Young, who was born in Pittsburgh, gave his family and friends in attendance something to cheer about when he belted a go-ahead two-run shot off Pirates starter Mitch Keller (5-5) with no outs in the top of the seventh.

Young’s seventh homer of the season, making the score 3-2, followed a leadoff double by Luke Raley. Keller then walked Victor Robles before exiting the game after 92 pitches and six-plus innings in which he struck out four, walked one and gave up seven hits.

The Mariners began erasing an early 2-0 Pirates lead when Raleigh led off the top of the fourth inning by hitting his eighth homer of the season.

Seattle starter George Kirby (6-7) snapped a streak of five consecutive losses and picked up his first win since May 11.

Kirby gave up two runs (one earned), struck out five, walked two and permitted eight hits over six innings and 91 pitches. Andres Munoz struck out the side in the ninth to record his 14th save.

Kirby ran into trouble in the bottom of the second when he gave up a double to Endy Rodriguez, and Marcell Ozuna followed with a single to put Pittsburgh 1-0.

In the third, Brandon Lowe, Bryan Reynolds and Nick Gonzales strung together consecutive singles. Gonzales beat an errant throw by third baseman J.P. Crawford on his hit, which allowed Lowe to score and Reynolds to reach third. But Kirby proceeded to retire Ryan O’Hearn on a pop up and strike out Rodriguez to limit the damage.

Crawford made up for the mistake by going 2-for-5 at the plate, and Josh Naylor also had two hits. Lowe and Gonzales finished with two hits each to lead the Pirates.

Randy Arozarena returned from the injured list for the Mariners, but he went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts.
