SEATTLE — After dipping in recent days, ticket prices for the United States men’s national team’s round of 32 World Cup match against Bosnia and Herzegovina soared ahead of Wednesday night’s contest.

The get-in price at San Francisco Bay Area Stadium was $1,818 at noon local time, five hours before kickoff in Santa Clara, according to ticket-tracking service TicketData.com. That was a 20% increase from just five hours earlier, and 25% higher than at 3 a.m. PT.

The three-day average is up 7%, but has seen significant fluctuations. The get-in price had dipped as low as $1,326 on Tuesday morning, according to TicketData.com.

That still is more than three times the get-in price for Wednesday’s match between Belgium and Senegal at Seattle Stadium. An hour before kickoff, the streets noticeably were less active than for the four group stage matches the city played host to — including Belgium’s opener against Egypt.

The get-in price had dropped to $444 when TicketData.com cut off tracking four hours before the 1 p.m. PT kick off. That was relatively flat for the match’s three-day average, with the price dropping as low as $404 on Tuesday.

That makes Belgium-Senegal the second-cheapest ticket among the round of 32 matches, higher than only Thursday’s match between Algeria and Switzerland in Vancouver.

The highest get-in price among the round of 32 matches has been $1,999 for Mexico’s 2-0 win over Ecuador on Tuesday. That still could be surpassed by Argentina against Cabo Verde in Miami on Friday, which currently sits at $1,987 after reaching $3,485 on Monday.

The USMNT’s game against Bosnia and Herzegovina currently has the third-highest get-in price, ahead of Croatia against Portugal in Toronto on Thursday, which is $1,794.
