Kelsey Mitchell scored 28 points and Caitlin Clark notched a double-double as the Indiana Fever rolled to a 106-92 victory over the visiting New York Liberty on Tuesday night in Indianapolis.

Mitchell shot 11-of-16 from the floor while Clark piled up 22 points, 10 assists and four rebounds for the Fever (21-12). Aliyah Boston added 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Monique Billings scored 14 points and Sophie Cunningham had 12 off the bench.

It’s the 15th time this season the Fever have scored at least 100 points, a WNBA record. Mitchell scored 20 in the first half alone and extended her record single-season streak of 20-point games to 17 in a row.

The Liberty (20-14) — who saw a four-game winning streak snapped — were paced by Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu with 19 points apiece. Jonquel Jones added a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Indiana led by as many as 21 points in the second quarter after breaking off a 22-11 run that was kickstarted by Clark providing the assist on a deep 3-pointer from the top of the key by Mitchell.

Clark, Mitchell and Boston either scored or assisted on 54 of the Fever’s 64 points in the first half. Clark went 4 for 5 from deep as five different Fever players combined to make 11 3-pointers in the half on 14 attempts. Indiana’s 78.6 shooting percentage from behind the arc set a franchise record for the best mark in a half.

Mitchell made 8 of 11 shots in the first half while helping contain the Liberty’s shooters on defense.

New York responded with a 13-4 run to open the third quarter to trim the deficit to nine points, but never got any closer to catch the Fever. By the end of the third quarter, the Fever led by 20 points and the end of the frame was punctuated by Cunningham blocking Han Xu’s shot at the buzzer.

Indiana held the advantage nearly wire-to-wire, having the lead for 96% of the game.
