Fans hoping to catch some of the opening matches at the 2026 U.S. Open continue to face steep prices on the reseller market.

The get-in price for the first round at Flushing Meadows in New York, which gets underway on Aug. 30, sits at $197, according to TicketData.com. That spans all combined day and night sessions for the Round of 128, and is 33.1% higher than the final get-in price for first-round matches in 2025.

How the withdrawal of men’s No. 1-ranked player Jannik Sinner on Friday may impact that pricing remains to be seen, as the ticket prices for the entirety of the 2026 tournament are tracking closer to last year. The average get-in price for all 60 sessions as of mid-day Friday was $283, down 8.6% over the past week to sit just 0.7% above 2025.

The get-in price for the women’s and men’s finals on Sept. 12 and Sept. 13 sits at an average of $534, up 19.0% from last year. However, the average price for the second round ($206) is down 27.0% from 2025, the third round ($266) is down 25.3% and the fourth round is ($266) is down 37.8%.

While Sinner will not compete in this year’s U.S. Open, No. 2-ranked Carlos Alcaraz announced he will return from the wrist injury that sidelined him from the French Open and Wimbledon.

Serena Williams, who made her return to singles at Wimbledon, has yet to announce whether she will also play singles at the U.S. Open. However, there is speculation she will play with Alcaraz in the mixed doubles event that runs Aug. 24-26.
