Conor Daly has been named the full-time driver for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing’s new IndyCar Series entry in 2027.

Daly, 34, will drive the No. 24 Honda for the Indianapolis-based team that he first raced for at the 2024 Indianapolis 500, where he finished 10th. After racing for Juncos Hollinger Racing in 2025, the Indiana native lost his seat with the team opting to go with Sting Ray Robb and Rinus VeeKay this season.

Daly again competed for D&R at the 2026 Indianapolis 500, qualifying in eighth place and going on to finish 12th. He will now return to the grid full-time next season.

“I’m super pumped,” Daly said. “If you knew how hard they’ve worked behind the scenes. ‘Finish the job’ is what (Dennis Reinbold) told them to do. To be here, with Honda as well. I want to thank Chevy for all the years I’ve been with them. This is a huge deal for me to have a multi-year deal, which is the first time in my life.”

DRR will work with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing in a technical alliance.

“Conor has raced for us at Indianapolis, so we know how he prepares, how he works with engineers, and how much he gets out of a car,” DRR CEO Derek Reinbold said. “He has shown for years that he can win the Indianapolis 500, and our job is to give him a car that lets him do it. We are building a team that contends every weekend, and Conor is the driver we trust to carry that effort across the full season. An Indiana driver in an Indiana team’s car is exactly how we want to come back.”
