Travis Bazzana hit a three-run home run and the Cleveland Guardians scored in four different innings to beat the host Baltimore Orioles 9-5 on Tuesday night.

Brayan Rocchio had two hits and knocked in two runs for the Guardians (74-72), who evened the three-game series by winning for the fourth time in their last six games. Angel Martinez, Petey Halpin and Patrick Bailey also provided two hits.

Tim Herrin (3-4) pitched 1 1/3 shutout innings in relief of Tanner Bibee.

Pete Alonso hit a two-run home run, but the Orioles (70-76) couldn’t dig out of a 6-0 hole. They’ve lost seven of their last eight games.

Baltimore starter Brandon Young (9-4) surrendered six runs on eight hits and two walks in 3 2/3 innings. He has gone five consecutive outings without a victory, though this marked his first loss during that span.

Bibee was done after 4 1/3 innings, giving up five runs on six hits. Four relievers worked behind him without giving up a run.

Martinez and Steven Kwan both scored two Cleveland runs as every batter in the Guardians’ starting lineup either scored or drove in a run.

Alonso joined Jackson Holliday with two hits for the Orioles.

The Guardians scored on Jo Adell’s first-inning single and Bailey’s second-inning single. Bazzana’s 11th homer came with two outs in the second.

Halpin extended the lead to 6-0 with an RBI single in the third.

The Orioles bounced back with a run in the fourth inning with Samuel Basallo’s RBI groundout. Baltimore posted three more in the fifth, with Leody Taveras’ double and Holliday’s single both driving in a run before Alonso’s 34th home run of the season.

Cleveland tallied three unearned runs in the seventh off Alex Hoppe, capped by Rocchio’s two-out, two-run single.
