Reid Detmers allowed three runs and struck out eight over six innings and Jose Siri went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and two runs as the Los Angeles Angels snapped a three-game losing streak with a 6-4 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Monday in Anaheim, Calif.

Detmers (6-8) gave up seven hits and walked one en route to his seventh straight quality start. He threw 95 pitches, 66 for strikes, and left the contest one strikeout shy of 200 for the season.

Zach Neto tripled, singled, scored twice and had an RBI and Denzer Guzman hit a two-run single for the Angels. Ben Joyce pitched a scoreless ninth to pick up his team-leading fifth save.

Cal Raleigh hit a three-run home run, J.P. Crawford homered among his two hits and Randy Arozarena had a double and a single for Seattle (70-81), which guaranteed itself a non-winning season with the loss. The Mariners took their third loss in four games.

Seattle rookie Kade Anderson (1-2) permitted five runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings. He struck out five and didn’t walk a batter.

In the opener of a three-game series, Los Angeles (57-93) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Mike Trout singled with one out and scored on Siri’s double into the left corner. Siri stole third, and Vaughn Grissom followed with a sacrifice fly.

The Angels extended the lead to 4-0 in the third inning on Neto’s RBI triple into the left field corner, driving in Wade Meckler, who had singled. One out later, Siri contributed an RBI single.

Seattle cut the deficit to 4-3 in the fourth on Raleigh’s 22nd homer, a three-run drive to right that drove in Arozarena and Dominic Canzone, who had both singled.

Los Angeles extended the lead to 6-3 in the fifth on Guzman’s two-run bases-loaded single off reliever Cooper Criswell.

Crawford made it 6-4 in the seventh when he hit his 12th home run, a 393-foot drive to right.

Seattle got the tying run on base in the ninth when Joyce walked pinch hitters Lazaro Montes and Taylor Ward, but he got Crawford to line out to first to end the game.
