Vancouver responded on a power play at 7:02 as Pettersson one-timed a Filip Hronek feed between Gibson’s pads.

Raymond added his second of the frame on a power play at 8:56, poking home a feed from Alex DeBrincat past Lankinen.

Detroit extended its lead to 4-1 at 14:58 of the middle frame as Rasmussen redirected an Anton Johansson point shot past Lankinen for his first of the season.
