The Los Angeles Dodgers called up right-hander Nabil Crismatt in advance of Saturday’s road game against the Toronto Blue Jays and optioned left-hander Nick Ramirez to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Crismatt, 29, made his Dodgers debut March 31 and delivered two scoreless innings in his only major league outing of the season. In 110 appearances (one start) over five seasons with four different clubs, Crismatt is 9-5 with a 3.72 ERA.
Ramirez, 34, has a 1.29 ERA this season in five appearances over two separate stints. He finished off Friday’s 12-2 series-opening victory over the Blue Jays by allowing one run over two innings in relief of a strong start from right-hander Gavin Stone.
In five seasons with four different clubs, Ramirez is 7-7 with a 3.92 ERA in 101 relief appearances.
