Miguel Andujar led a 14-hit attack with a single, double and triple, Walker Buehler pitched into the sixth inning despite a rough start, and the visiting San Diego Padres rallied from an early deficit to overtake the San Francisco Giants 10-5 on Tuesday night.

Xander Bogaerts homered and drove in two runs while Nick Castellanos, Sung-Mun Song and Jackson Merrill chipped in with two RBIs apiece for the Padres, who had lost five of their previous six games.

Casey Schmitt hit Buehler’s fifth pitch of the game for a two-run homer and Jesus Rodriguez contributed an RBI single in a two-run second inning, helping the Giants stake Logan Webb (2-4) to a 4-1 lead through two innings.

But a five-run fourth gave San Diego a lead it never relinquished. Song’s two-out, two-run double, his first hit as a major-leaguer, plated the tying and go-ahead runs.

Castellanos added a sacrifice fly in the fifth, Andujar an RBI single in the sixth and Merrill a run-scoring double in the eighth, helping the visitors pull away.

Buehler (2-2), who had been torched for 11 hits and six runs in just 7 1/3 innings in his previous two starts, left with an 8-4 lead in the sixth. He was charged with four runs on seven hits over his 5 1/3 innings, striking out five without issuing a walk.

One of the hits allowed by Buehler was Giants rookie Rodriguez’s first major league home run. The solo shot came in the catcher’s sixth big-league at-bat.

Bogaerts’ homer, which opened the Padres’ scoring in the second inning, was his sixth of the season.

Merrill joined Andujar with three hits and scored twice for San Diego, which equaled its season high both in hits and runs. Song, whose only previous experience in Major League Baseball had come as a pinch runner, also scored a pair of runs, while Gavin Sheets contributed two hits.

Schmitt and Rodriguez each had two RBIs for the Giants, who had snapped a six-game losing streak with a 3-2 win in the series opener on Monday.

Webb lasted just four innings, during which he allowed six runs and seven hits. He struck out four.
