Willi Castro and TJ Rumfield both drove in a pair of runs for the visiting Colorado Rockies, who rallied to beat the Chicago Cubs 5-2 on Tuesday.

The second and third hitters in the Colorado lineup put the Rockies ahead with a three-run fourth inning. Castro’s double off Cubs starter Edward Cabrera (4-4) plated Jake McCarthy, and Castro scored on Rumfield’s 10th home run of the season.

Four Rockies relievers combined to allow only a hit and a walk over the final 4 1/3 innings. Blas Castano (1-0) notched his first major league win, and Jaden Hill earned his first big league save.

Besides losing for the second time in three games, the Cubs also had another pitcher suffer an injury as Cabrera departed with one out in the fifth due to a cramp in his right hand.

Cabrera retired the first nine batters he faced before McCarthy, who went 3-for-5, led off the fourth with a single. Cabrera also walked the first two batters in the fifth. Those runs came in off reliever Ryan Rolison thanks to a wild pitch and a Castro groundout.

The right-hander allowed just three hits and two walks in 4 1/3 innings, but that led to five runs, all earned, as Cabrera suffered the loss for the fourth time in his last five decisions.

The Cubs jumped ahead early as Pete Crow-Armstrong led off the bottom of the first with a solo home run off Rockies starter Ryan Feltner.

Their lead doubled in the second inning as Matt Shaw led off with a single. Miguel Amaya doubled to put both runners in scoring position before a Feltner wild pitch allowed Shaw to scamper home.

Feltner would settle down after that, but he left the game after giving up a single to Ian Happ with two outs in the fifth inning as he reached 104 pitches. The Rockies’ right-hander struck out seven, while allowing six hits and three walks that resulted in two runs.

Castano entered and retired all four batters he faced.

Chicago brought the tying run up to the plate in the seventh after Seiya Suzuki’s double off Brennan Bernardino put runners at second and third with two out. However, Happ grounded out to end the threat.

Amaya went 2-for-3, and Suzuki finished 2-for-4.
