Bam Adebayo scored 22 points, Jaime Jaquez Jr. scored 18 of his 20 points in the second half and the sleep-deprived Miami Heat pulled away from the host Phoenix Suns for a 111-102 victory on Sunday.

Norman Powell had 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Andrew Wiggins had 10 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season for the Heat, who finished 3-2 on their longest road trip of the season.

The Heat arrived in Phoenix at 4:30 a.m. local time Sunday after their flight from Salt Lake City was delayed more than three hours, according to FlightAware.

Dillon Brooks scored 26 points and Grayson Allen added 18 for the Suns, who played without leading scorer Devin Booker (sprained ankle) in their first home game after a 12-day, six-game road trip.

Jaquez’s 3-pointer capped a 19-6 spurt to open the fourth quarter when the Heat took their largest lead of the game, 101-83, with 6:35 remaining. The Suns were never closer again than nine points.

The Heat won back-to-back games for the first time since capping a four-game streak with a victory at Detroit on Jan. 1.

Neither team shot well. The Heat shot 41.9% (39 of 93) from the field and were 9 of 36 on 3-pointers. The Suns shot 37% (37 of 100) and were 7 of 35 from distance.

Phoenix had won six straight home games, losing the first in a stretch in which they will play nine of 10 at home. Their largest lead was two on Sunday.

The Suns played without Booker, who suffered a right ankle injury in a loss at Atlanta on Friday. Jalen Green, who aggravated a season-long hamstring injury in that game, also did not play.

Heat starters Tyler Herro (ribs) and Kel’el Ware (hamstring) were not with the team.

Adebayo and Powell had 13 points apiece in the first half when the Heat used a 16-4 closing run to take a 58-48 lead. The Suns missed 13 straight shots in the second quarter, and the teams were a combined 5 of 36 on 3-pointers at half.

Allen went to the floor and grabbed his left knee after being fouled by Kasparas Jakucionis on a scramble for a loose ball with 2:40 left in the first half, but he remained in the game.
