Josh Hart had one of the most prolific games of his career Tuesday night, when he scored 33 points to lead the surging New York Knicks to a 136-110 win over the visiting Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.

Hart was 12 of 13 from the field, including 5 of 5 from 3-point land. The 33 points were the second-most of Hart’s nine-year career, behind only a 44-point outing for the Portland Trail Blazers in a 127-118 win over the Washington Wizards on March 12, 2022.

The 30-point effort was the first for Hart since he had 30 points for the Knicks in a 128-115 win over the Pacers on Feb. 11, 2025.

Hart, who sat out the fourth quarter, added seven rebounds and five assists as the Knicks extended their winning streak to four games despite the absence of star guard Jalen Brunson, who sat out due to right ankle management.

Karl-Anthony Towns (22 points, 11 rebounds) and Jose Alvarado (16 points, 10 assists) each posted double-doubles for the Knicks. Alvarado, who started in place of Brunson, had his first double-double since last April 2, when he finished with 17 points and 10 assists for the New Orleans Pelicans in a 107-104 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

OG Anunoby had 26 points and eight rebounds while Mikal Bridges and reserve Jordan Clarkson added 10 points apiece.

T.J. McConnell (10 points, 10 assists) recorded a double-double while Jarace Walker scored a team-high 16 points for the Pacers, who suffered their franchise-record 14th straight loss. Indiana, which is in last place in the Eastern Conference, also had a 13-game skid earlier this year.

Obi Toppin scored 15 points off the bench while starters Aaron Nesmith (14 points), Kobe Brown (13 points) and Ivica Zubac (11 points) all got into double figures.

The Knicks held seven different seven-point leads in the first half before the Pacers rallied to take their biggest lead at 57-51 on Walker’s 3-pointer with 5:10 left in the second quarter.

New York regained control by ending the half on a 22-7 run in which Hart scored 10 points to put the hosts ahead 72-64.

The Pacers got within six points 62 seconds into the third, but Towns’ 3-pointer put the Knicks ahead by double digits for good at 83-71 with 9:27 remaining.

New York led by as many as 27 in the fourth.

Both teams shot over 50% from the floor and 43% from behind the arc, but the Knicks got off 15 more shots, helped by 19 offensive rebounds and only nine turnovers.
