Trey Galloway scored 16 points, including a 3-pointer as part of a late 12-0 run when Indiana rallied from down 10 to defeat Ohio State 66-60 in Bloomington, Ind., in the regular-season finale on Saturday.

Indiana broke a 56-56 tie on two fouls shots from Malik Reneau with 2:56 left.

Ohio State turned it over on a clock violation and Galloway nailed a 3-pointer with 1:24 left. Luke Goode hit two from the line to make it 63-56 at the 1:05 mark.

Bruce Thornton made it 63-58 with two foul shots but the Buckeyes got no closer.

Indiana (19-12, 10-10 Big Ten) secured the No. 9 seed for the Big Ten tournament, earning a bye to the second round on Thursday vs. No. 8 seed Oregon. The Buckeyes (17-14, 9-11) as the No. 10 seed play Wednesday and must win five games in five days to receive the automatic qualifier for the NCAA Tournament.

Indiana also likely earned at least an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament while the Buckeyes are on the bubble.

Reneau also scored 16 as the Hoosiers won for the fourth time in five games.

Micah Parrish had 19 points and Devin Royal added 13 for the Buckeyes, who shot 38.2 percent from the field and missed 18 of their 26 3-point attempts.

There was a lot of emotion not only for Senior Day but also Indiana’s Mike Woodson coached his final home game following the school’s Feb. 7 announcement that he would not return for the 2025-26 season.

Woodson has an 82-52 record in his fourth season.

Indiana erased a 10-point deficit in a four-minute span to tie it at 49 with eight minutes left, and a minute later took its first lead since 15:48 of the first half when Reneau hit two foul shots.

Royal’s jumper regained the lead for the Buckeyes on the next possession and the game went back and forth from there.

Thornton, Ohio State’s leading scorer (17.8), had nine points on 2-of-10 shooting from the floor.

Ohio State held a 29-25 halftime lead after a brief nine-point advantage (26-17) with just under four minutes left.
