Kyle Jorgensen completed a three-point play with 1:17 to help lift Colorado State to a 91-86 non-conference win over in-state rival Colorado Saturday in Fort Collins, Colo.

After Isaiah Johnson hit a 3-pointer with 1:48 left to give the Buffaloes (8-1) an 85-83 lead, Jorgensen scored inside and was fouled. His free throw put the Rams (7-2) up 86-85.

Josh Pascarelli hit a jumper with 33 seconds left for the Rams, and Jorgensen sealed it with a pair of free throws with 21 seconds left.

Pascarelli finished with 26 points, going 9-of-13 from the field, including 8-of-10 on 3-pointers.

Jorgensen had 21 points on 7-of-10 shooting, hitting 3 of 6 3-pointers.

Colorado State made 18 of its 35 3-point attempts (51.4%).

Alon Michaeli led the Buffaloes with 19 points, and Johnson added 17.

Brandon Rechsteiner and Pascarelli hit 3-pointers early in the second half to give Colorado State a 59-47 lead with 16:09 left.

The Buffaloes then went on an 18-3 run to take a 65-62 lead with 9:49 to go.

The Rams went scoreless for 5:07 with four turnovers during that Colorado run.

Colorado State led by as many as 12 in the first half, but the Buffaloes cut the lead to 48-41 at halftime.

Pascarelli started an early run with a 3-pointer at the 9:26 mark.

Carey Booth then fed Rechsteiner and Pascarelli for 3-pointers and a 31-22 lead with 8:24 left.

Rechsteinner then nailed a 3-pointer out of a timeout for a 34-24 Colorado State lead with 6:58 left.

Sebastian Rancik brought the Buffaloes back when he scored on a layup, then had a steal the next possession to allow Johnson to score on a layup with 5:37 left to cut the deficit to 36-28.

A minute later, Felix Kossaras laid in a basket to make it 40-32.

Jorgensen stretched the lead to 43-32 for the Rams with a 3-pointer with 3:38 left, but the Buffaloes outscored the Rams 9-5 the rest of the way to get the deficit back into single figures.

Bangor Dak had a pair of dunks in the run, and Micaeli hit a 3-pointer and then a layup with 59 seconds left to cut it to seven at the break.
