Georgetown freshman big man Thomas Sorber will undergo season-ending surgery on his left foot on Wednesday.
The school said Sorber injured the foot during a 97-86 loss to host Butler on Feb. 15. He missed the following two games.
Sorber ranks second on the Hoyas in scoring (14.5 points per game) and leads the squad in rebounding (8.5) and blocked shots (49 total) while playing 24 games (23 starts).
The 6-foot-10 Sorber is considered a probable first-round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
Sorber recorded eight double-doubles this season. He scored 20 or more points on five occasions.
