Nazem Kadri and Jaden Schwartz scored two goals apiece to lift the visiting Colorado Avalanche to a 5-2 victory against the skidding Chicago Blackhawks on Monday.

After falling behind 2-0, the Avalanche ripped off the final five goals to stop a three-game road losing streak. Devon Toews had a goal and assist, including an empty-netter to seal the result at 17:38 of the third period. T.J. Hughes tallied two assists.

Mackenzie Blackwood made 21 saves as Colorado won its season-best third straight game.

Wyatt Kaiser and Roman Kantserov tallied for the Blackhawks, and Spencer Knight stopped 24 shots. Chicago has lost three straight and six of seven (1-5-1).

Bruins 3, Golden Knights 2 (SO)

David Pastrnak scored a walk-off goal in a shootout as Boston earned a victory over visiting Vegas.

James Hagens and Morgan Geekie scored in regulation for the Bruins, while Jeremy Swayman made 21 saves before stopping all three shootout attempts he faced as the Bruins won their second straight game and ninth in the past 12 (9-2-1).

Trevor Connelly scored the game-tying goal with 12:37 left in regulation as the Golden Knights rallied from a 2-0 deficit. Mark Stone also lit the lamp, Mitch Marner dished out two assists, and Carter Hart made 25 saves for Vegas, which is 1-3-2 in its past six contests.

Red Wings 5, Panthers 3

Justin Faulk scored the go-ahead goal and added an assist while Daniil Tarasov made 23 saves to beat his former team as Detroit prevailed in Sunrise, Fla.

Carter Mazur, Alex DeBrincat and Michael Brandsegg-Nygard also scored for the Red Wings, and Emmitt Finnie added an empty-net goal with three seconds left. Mazur, 24, scored his first NHL goal in his 18th career game, and Brandsegg-Nygard finished with two points.

Panthers goalie Jacob Markstrom made 24 saves in his first appearance since Oct. 17. Sam Reinhart, Aaron Ekblad and Sam Bennett scored for Florida, which had its three-game winning streak snapped.

Flames 2, Sharks 1

Adam Klapka scored one goal in his first two-point game of the season to lead visiting Calgary past San Jose.

William Stromgren netted his first NHL goal, which held up as the game-winner, and Jonathan Castagna collected a pair of assists for the Flames, who have won six of eight games. Dustin Wolf recorded 26 saves.

Sam Dickinson replied for the Sharks, who have one victory in their last five outings. Yaroslav Askarov stopped 20 shots.
