Kyler Murray‘s four-TD performance in Week 1 boosted the MVP odds of the Arizona Cardinals quarterback, who is chasing only Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the futures market.
The static odds board at BetMGM includes Murray at +900 and Mahomes, the favorite since the line was created in the spring, steady at +550.
Matthew Stafford’s three touchdown passes in the Rams’ opening night win over the Chicago Bears pushed the L.A. quarterback to +1000 and even with Tom Brady (Buccaneers).
Josh Allen, one of the most widely bet candidates for MVP in the preseason, is down to +1600 from +1400 after a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

At FanDuel, it was Stafford (+800) making the biggest leap — and climbing into the No. 2 position behind Mahomes (+600). Brady and Murray are +900 and Allen held steady at +1200 in front of Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (+1500). He shares that perch with Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers.
Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert (+2000) received a bump with Los Angeles’ win at Washington and Jameis Winston is now +3000 at FanDuel. He was +5000 prior to his five-TD game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
