Rush Street Interactive will expand its sportsbook and online gaming operation to the Michigan market when it partners with Little Rivers Casino Resort in the western part of the state. Located just off the shore of Lake Michigan in Manistee, south of Traverse City, Little Rivers Casino Resort will use Rush Street Interactive as the service provider for an on-site sportsbook.
The two entities will also run a co-branded online sportsbook and casino throughout Michigan, once state approval is complete. Little Rivers Casino Resort is owned and operated by the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians.
The on-site sportsbook is expected to open in July, per the approval of state regulators.
Rush Street Interactive also is the service provider for sportsbooks in Pennsylvania, Illinois and Illinois and launched its first online betting site, PlaySugarHouse.com, in New Jersey in 2016. –Field Level Media (@FieldLevelMedia)
