Real Salt Lake are reportedly working on a potential club-record deal to acquire Colombian winger Andres Gomez.
Agreements have been reached on a $4 million transfer fee to Bogota-based Millonarios FC of Colombia’s top flight, according to MLSSoccer.com.
It would eclipse RSL’s previous record of a reported $2.5 million spent to acquire forward Jefferson Savarino from Brazil’s Atletico Mineiro last May.
Gomez, 20, had 13 goals and six assists in 59 appearances with Millonarios.
