The Portland Trail Blazers acquired Philadelphia 76ers guard Matisse Thybulle as a part of a three-team trade that also involves the Charlotte Hornets, ESPN reported on Thursday.
Per the report, the Sixers received Hornets forward Jalen McDaniels in the deal, while Charlotte acquired guard Svi Mykhailiuk and “multiple” second-round picks.
Thybulle, 25, is averaging career lows in points (2.6), rebounds (1.3) and assists (0.5) this season while playing just 12.1 minutes per game in his fourth season with the Sixers.
McDaniels, in turn, is enjoying career-best averages thus far this season. The 25-year-old is averaging 10.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 56 games (21 starts) in 2022-23.
Mykhailiuk, 25, averaged 1.6 points and 0.5 rebounds in 13 games off the bench with the New York Knicks. He was acquired by the Blazers along with forward Cam Reddish and guard Ryan Arcidiacono and a protected first-round pick in exchange for guard Josh Hart and a 2023 first-round pick.
