The San Antonio Spurs claimed forward Julian Champagnie off waivers from the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday.
The Sixers waived Champagnie and his two-way contract on Tuesday in order to give G League star Mac McClung a two-way deal.
Champagnie appeared in two games for Philadelphia (seven total minutes). In 18 games for the G League Delaware Blue Coats, he had 14.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest.
The 21-year-old went undrafted in 2022 after three seasons at St. John’s, where he had career averages of 16.0 points and 6.8 boards.
