Montreal Canadiens forward Christian Dvorak underwent season-ending knee surgery Wednesday and is expected to make a full recovery.
Team doctor Robert Marx performed the surgery in New York.
Dvorak, 27, sustained the injury March 7 in the Habs’ shootout loss to Carolina.
He had 28 points (10 goals, 18 assists) in 64 games this season, his second in Montreal.
The former second-round pick has 207 career points (88 goals, 119 assists) in seven seasons with the Arizona Coyotes (2016-21) and Habs.
