New England Patriots linebacker Mack Wilson has agreed to a one-year contract worth $2.2 million, multiple outlets reported Thursday.
Wilson, 25, recorded a career-high 1.5 sacks to go along with 36 tackles and one forced fumble in 17 games (three starts) with the Patriots last season. He didn’t play a single defensive snap after Week 13, however.
Wilson played on just 21 percent of the defensive snaps as opposed to 62 percent on special teams.
Wilson has totaled 199 tackles, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and one interception in 60 career games (31 starts) with the Cleveland Browns (2019-21) and Patriots.
