T1 League of Legends player-turned-coach Seong-woon “Bengi” Bae has resigned and will leave the organization at the conclusion of the LCK Summer Season.
“His commitment, dedication, and inspiring legacy have left an indelible mark on T1,” general manager Becker Jung said of Bengi.
Jae-hyeon “Tom” Im will serve as the interim head coach for the remainder of the season.
Bengi, 29, joined the organization as a jungler in February 2013 when it was known as SK Telecom 1.
He joined Vici Gaming in December 2016 before returning to SK Telecom 1 in November 2017. He stayed with the club for nearly one year before returning in November 2020 as the coach of T1’s Challenger side.
Bengi became T1’s coach in December 2021.
