Army is extending football coach Jeff Monken through 2027 at a salary of more than $2 million per season, ESPN reported Monday.
The Black Knights have compiled a 66-50 record, including a 2-1 start this season, since Monken took over ahead of the 2014 season.
Monken has guided Army to five bowl games, winning four of them. His teams cracked the Associated Press Top 25 during the 2018 and 2020 seasons.
His teams have also won five of the last seven meetings against Navy.
Army won 37-29 at UTSA on Friday night and will be back in action Saturday at Syracuse.
