Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London was removed from the injury report after practicing in full on Friday and is expected to play against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
London missed last week’s loss against the Minnesota Vikings with a groin injury. He returned to limited practice on Wednesday and coach Arthur Smith said he was trending in the right direction.
However, fellow wide receiver Mack Hollins was ruled out along with cornerback Dee Alford. Both suffered ankle injuries against the Vikings. Defensive lineman David Onyemata is questionable with his own ankle injury. The Falcons are already without defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, who suffered a season-ending knee injury two weeks ago.
London, 22, leads the Falcons (4-5) in receptions (37) and receiving yards (438) and has two touchdown catches in eight games (all starts).
Selected eighth overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, London has recorded 109 catches for 1,304 yards and six touchdowns in 25 career games (23 starts).
Hollins is the Falcons’ second leading wideout this season with 17 catches for 247 yards, but has yet to reach the end zone.
Alford is the team’s slot corner. His absence could create additional snaps for fourth-round rookie Clark Phillips III and/or veterans Mike Hughes and Tre Flowers.
