The Phoenix Suns listed Devin Booker as probable on their injury report Tuesday night, likely meaning that the team’s superstar trio of Booker, Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant will play in a game together for the first time Wednesday against the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves.
Booker has played in just two of Phoenix’s 10 games this season due to injuries to his toe, ankle and calf. He has sat out the past five straight.
Beal (low back spasms) is also deemed probable. He recently made his Suns debut on Nov. 8 after missing the first seven games of the season.
The Suns acquired Beal from the Washington Wizards this summer in a blockbuster deal that shipped Chris Paul out of Phoenix. Beal, a three-time All-Star, has career averages of 22.1 points, 4.3 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game in 698 games, 695 with Washington.
He’s averaged 17.3 points and 5.3 rebounds over his first three games for the Suns (4-6).
Booker, also a three-time All-Star, has scored 32 and 31 points in his first two appearances of the season. He was one rebound shy of a triple-double Nov. 2 in an 11-point loss to the Spurs.
