The New York Red Bulls and defender Hassan Ndam mutually agreed to part ways, the club announced Wednesday.
The club will not exercise the 25-year-old Cameroon native’s option for the 2024 MLS season.
“We want to thank Hassan for his effort and commitment this season for the club,” NYRB head of sport Jochen Schneider said in a news release. “Hassan stepped up in big moments for the club this season and we wish him nothing but the best in his next endeavor.”
Ndam played in 15 regular-season matches (eight starts) this season. He made one appearance for NYRB in both 2017 and 2018 and two in 2022.
