Hill, 33, posted a 1-4 record with a career-worst 5.48 ERA in 48 relief appearances with the San Diego Padres last season.
He owns a 16-14 mark with four saves and a 4.16 ERA in 320 career relief appearances with the Kansas City Royals (2018-19) and Padres (2020-23).
